Desirae joined Verus Capital Partners as the new Office Manager January 2022, and moved up to become Verus’ Director of Client Services in 2024. Previously, she has worked in the education field for over nine years, spending half of those years working in special education as a paraprofessional, and the remaining years as a second grade teacher in the Gilbert charter school system.

An Arizona native, she and her family grew up primarily in the west valley, graduating from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies and minor in Advocacy/ Community Outreach.

She prides herself in being personable and bringing a level-headed angle to problem solving, and enjoys working closely with both clients and advisors to assist in their needs. 

Desirae currently resides in the East Valley. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing short stories, attending comic book conventions and volunteering in the community.
