Emilio is a San Diego Native and joined Verus Capital Partners in November of 2019 through a firm acquisition of New Break Financial. Emilio first gained interest in financial planning in 2008 while witnessing the toll the financial crisis took on his family's investments.  He knew he wanted to one day help others understand the benefits of sound financial planning. 

Emilio combines hard work and integrity while working with clients to pursue their financial goals. Emilio believes that educating clients and giving thorough analysis is the key for clients to understand and believe in those specific goals. Emilio adds to the strength of the team by way of his calm demeanor and his keen eye for efficiency.

He graduated from California State University, Chico earning his degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.

He is first generation American and speaks and writes in fluent Spanish. When not focusing on the pursuit of financial success of others, Emilio can be found at the gym, at a Padres game, or relaxing at home with friends and family.
